Destinations We Love
Iceland
Iceland, a land known for its literary heritage, weaving, silversmithing, and carving, is found in the arctic region of the world. Because it is located in the North Atlantic Current and Irminger Current, the climate is subarctic and temps remain somewhat moderate.

The aurora borealis is visible in the winter nights and the midnight sun can be experienced in the summer.

Alaska, known as the land of three million lakes is truly America's last frontier. It has millions of miles of national and state parks. It is where you can experience a temperate rainforest, a tundra, a volcano, and glaciers - all on the same landmass.

When to visit:
There are three tourist seasons in Alaska:
From May to Mid June is spring where you will see the beautiful flowers bloom and the mountains are easily visible.
From Mid June to August is Peak season when the salmon are running bringing out the wildlife. It is the time when you can experience almost 24 hours of daylight, and see the most variety and abundance of wildlife. However, it is when the rain and fog make the mountains much more difficult to see.
From August to Mid September is fall - when salmon are still plentiful, so wildlife is still easily seen, but the salmon aren't running. Rain still occurs but not as frequently, and the temps are starting to fall.
