For those of you like me - the nighttime shows at Disney are one of your favorite experiences. And while I am so happy that we've been able to go back and experience Disney over the last few months - I have really missed the fireworks and nighttime shows.
Today, Disney announced some new enhanced shows and things they have beginning October 1 to commemorate Disney World's 50th Anniversary!
Magic Kingdom will have a new "Disney Enchantment" where music, enhanced lighting, amazing fireworks, and for the first time ever - projection effects that extend from Cinderella's castle all the way down Main Street, USA!! I can't wait to experience this amazing new show!
Then we have "Harmonious" coming to Epcot on October 1! This will be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney park with a focus on bringing the globe together using powerful stories, songs, and pyrotechnics! This show will combine choreographed water fountains with fireworks - all set to Disney songs like you've never heard them before - translated into multiple languages.
And then there is Animal Kingdom's new daytime show where performers will fly wind catchers and kites of multiple shapes and sizes. During the show at the amphitheater, there will be elaborate three dimensional kites - some 30 feet long - showcasing some of our favorite Disney friends, Simba, Zazu, Baloo, and King Louie as they dance to some Disney classics!
The celebrations will be hosted by Disney's very own Mickey and Minnie who will be decked out in some new EARidescent fashions along with their pals! You will also be able to find gold statues of Mickey, Minnie, and some of their best pals in Magic Kingdom come October 1!
